Holding Zone

Collection by Helena

Items moved to the holding zone as of December 17, 2019. To be re-evaluated based on wear during the Spring 2020 season. Reasons for removing items: - bold colours and stripes - I think these are no longer part of my signature style moving forward. Good to keep an outlier, but I currently have a bright red cable knit sweater, a bright red merino wool crewneck, and Mom's bright pink sleeveless blouse, as well as a jade lightweight sweater that I prefer more than these. - blouses - because I wear blouses so infrequently, these have become 'second tier' to better choices. I prefer my Dillon BR one to the navy, and I'd likely wear my green BR balloon-sleeve t rather than the printed blouse. Although I love this colour, the fit is somehow meh and feels a bit sloppy when I wear it, and the sleeves are fiddly. - mock neck sweater - I believe this is a failed experiment. Lesson learned - white is primarily a warm weather colour for me. - jade green shorts. I think these are too short (shown in chambray). - Jacob striped sweater. Bought for nostalgia. Should have gone for the neutral option. I'm not sure about this one - maybe it will get worn in the spring, but if not, I'll let it hopefully serve someone else. Burgundy t-shirt - for me this is seasonally confused - a fall/winter colour on a spring/summer piece. So it rarely if ever gets worn. Plus to pocket is fussy and annoying. Light wash skinnies - I don't love a light wash jean. maybe in the spring? These are also not the most flattering on the butt. Cream cableknit. Too thin as to make it seasonally confused. Now that I have a thick red cableknit, I think this piece is extraneous.
