Cognac Cross Body Ideas

Decided 9/1 to switch to looking for a hobo or shoulder bag. 9/4 checked L&T, Nord, Macys, TJMAxx. Not seeing much brown at retail yet, and what there is I don't like much 10x 8 x 3 is just about a perfect size, a little smaller is good too. NordR 8/26; Macys 8/26; L&T 8/26; zappos 8/26; TJ 8/26 Amazon ?? Tried the two Lodis: the backpack one was too small and the other one stuck out too much the bottom was too wide. Tried the brahmin shoulder bag (not a cross body); slipped off my shoulder. The GB one comes in a cognac color. The D&B Cameron Satchel is too big. The D&B Cameron cross body in "natural/gold" is sold out at Macys ( 10 x 7 3/4 x 4 1/4) but a very similar one is available at Zappos in a smaller size. (8 1/4 x 7 x 3 1/2). The one at Macys is just the right size. The MK simple one is dull. The Vince Camuto one is very flimsy leather and the strap is too thin. the Cole Haan style is perfect but it's just a little too small.
