2021 Footwear Rejected part 2

FS Carol loafer was a little too big in a 7; 6.5 might work. (the FSs I need to replace are 7s and a little snug). Also the seaming where the upper meets the sides is a bit too prominent for what I want. Rockport black loafers in a 7.5 were close, needed added insole which worked ok but heel slipped a bit and big toe hit the top of the shoe. Softwalk Rocklin (lighter color than shown here) fit well at 7.5 w/o socks, good insole cushioning with arch support that was noticeable but probably would lessen with wear, but soles too thin. Also a "meh" style. The Ara and Gabor black pumps were both UK4/US6.5 and both too big, also the Gabor (had a heel unlike the thumbnail image) had no arch support. Vionic Natalie* in 6.5 was right size and felt pretty good but didn't like the style (no finds ). Walking cradles birdie fit overall in 6.5 but toes squished (no finds). RL booties too close in color to the Naturalizer ones I already have. Sam Edelman camel loafers in 6.5 fit pretty well, but decided against a second pair of patent leather loafers and want booties instead of loafers in this color. SE caramel loafers in 6.5 fit well, look good, but with both patent leather and bright metallic they are a little too blingy .. also they are synthetic. Van Ely Astr pumps too small in both 6.5 and 7, seems to be the toe shape because heel fits find on the 7. The Dr Schollls booties were microfiber fabric, too soft and unsupportive. Rockport tan loafers in a 7 were a bit loose and way too soft/unsupportive, felt like Aerosoles. The Lucky loafers were SO close in a 6.5 but the heel slipped just a little, tried very thin insoles but didn't help and no room for a larger one. Trotters Kari was too small in the toe area in both 6.5 and 7, but heel fit in 6.5.
