Spring might not be in the air, but it has hit retail stores. I come alive with early Spring fashions and particularly love shopping from now until April. Here are some items that my clients bought recently to get a headstart on Spring, and some other items that tickled my fancy. Be sure to browse all the colour options.
- Banana Republic Metallic Pullover Sweater: The pullover is made of shiny yarn which makes it work well with blingy jewellery and pearls. Luxurious. It looks great worn on its own with a skirt or layered over a shirt or blouse. Works well on a larger bust too.
- Topshop JUNO Soft Glove Mid Shoes: Comfy fashion-forward block-heeled round toe pump. Modern Retro, and fun in orange.
- Jeffrey Campbell 'Bernice' Buckle Pump (Women): A heeled loafer that's a copy of last season's Gucci. Moderately comfy. Works on both high and lower volume feet.
- Ted Baker London 'Sianne' Floral Print Sheath Dress: A fun sheath with short sleeves that's not skintight. Love the belt detailing. Runs small and best on a straighter figure with smaller waist. Great length for taller gals.
- Clarks Glick Resseta: Extremely comfy sneaker-oxford hybrid. Great on higher volume feet. Fun to wear with skirts and dresses, as well as jeans.
- Prada Buckle Embellished Pump (Women): A ridiculously beautiful block-heeled and buckled round square toed pump that's quite comfy. Runs a little big, and looks sooo much better in ink than black.
- Matt & Nat 'Robby' Vegan Leather Foldover Clutch: A sleek and simple vegan clutch. Well made.
- Clarks Women's CloudSteppers Sillian Tino Flat: Sublimely comfortable walking sneakers. The lining is made of the softest jersey so your feet feel like they're wrapped in the comfiest of pajamas. Great to wear without socks, and look better on the foot than in the photo.
- Olivia Palermo + Chelsea28 High Rise Denim Culottes: Fun high-waisted '70 denim culottes to wear with a cropped pullover or tucked soft blouse. Good on curvy figures.
- Olivia Palermo + Chelsea28 Stripe Wool & Cashmere Pullover: A fitted cropped pullover with delicious back bow detailing. Gorgeous with flared skirts.
- Banana Republic Floral Tote: A happy floral tote.
- Banana Republic Dillon-Fit Red Floral Blouse: A classic soft blouse in a vibrant tomato and turquoise pattern.
- Zara Coat With Peter Pan Collar: A very lightweight mustard topper in a tunic length. Loosely tailored. Crisp.
- 7 For All Mankind Ankle Skinny Jeans (Peony Floral): Happy floral skinnies for a moderately curvy or straighter figure and narrower calves.
- Vince Camuto 'Duet Floral' Print Culottes: Swooshy floral culottes that drape quite well. Excellent on a curvy figure. Runs big.
- Topshop 'Jolene' Pump (Women): A surprisingly comfortable pointy toe ankle strap pump. The silver is the most comfortable of the colour options. There IS toe cleavage so consider yourself warned. Good price, although the silver is delicate and prone to scuffing.
- Topshop 'Juno' Ballet Shoe (Women): Comfy fashion-forward block-heeled round toe pump. Super soft. Modern Retro, and fun in gold.
- ASOS OBSERVER Pointed Heels: Moderately comfy vegan ankle strap pumps for wider feet. Good price.
- Olivia Palermo + Chelsea28 Silk Shirt: Pajama Blouse Fabness. Has matching culottes to create a two-piece dress. Elegant and fashionable.
- Ann Taylor Classic Long Trench: A fab modern classic trench coat in a rich shade of toffee. Brilliant longer length and runs big. Tailored and sharp.
- J.Crew Chateau trench coat: A casual, boxy trench coat with a hood that runs a size small and tighter on the arms. Gorgeous fabric.
- Zara Water Repellent A-line Parka: A very roomy and lightweight cropped toffee trench coat in an arty silhouette. I love the drawstring detail at the back. Runs big.
- COS Draped high-neck jumper: Roomy, long and architectural with just enough structure. Runs big.
- Ann Taylor Piped Fluid Ankle Pants: Tailored rust culottes with navy piping and a streamlined silhouette. Fun and fashionable for business casual. Very drapey and a crepe-y material. Runs big and long.
- Olivia Palermo + Chelsea28 Retro Denim Skirt: A crisp and polished A-line denim skirt for Team Tall. Good on a curvier figure. Might run big.
- COS Ruche detail rib-knit top: A flouncy elbow-length pullover in two colours. The sage green is particularly unique. Fab over pencil skirts and sleek bottoms. Runs big.
- Banana Republic Stripe Bead Ruffle Top: Gorgeous thick rugby jersey in a silhouette that reminds of the stylish women in Japan. Girly and fluid. Super fun with immaculate drape.
