Zara printed sweatshirt redux

A few days ago I posted this re: the Zara printed sweatshirt:

I thought I should try a size up for comparison. Well, it arrived today and there is a big difference between the M and the L. I don't care for the L on me. It's not a drapey garment and it just seems to stick out from my body in an unflattering way -- see pics 1-3.

Pics 4-6 are the M again, in a full length shot. I was taking pics of an old pair of flares I'm thinking of reviving and popped on the sweatshirt just to see it, and then decided to try it with a couple of tube skirts (7-11).

What do you think? I'm kinda liking it. It's different for me.

The fabrication is unusual -- the printed portion is two layers, a fine mesh over the sweatshirt material, and both are printed. It's kind of a cool effect (pic 12).

I love the M on you. The shirt is fun, it could be really versatile as it works on both pants and skirts and on top of that you have a fantastic figure!

Definitely prefer the M, Janet. I wish it were a bit longer, although I really like the length with the pencil skirts! Love the interesting agate-like print. It's a great example of Angie's post!

Yes, definitely the M. And pairing it with tube skirts makes such a difference! The top just looked a little too short with pants. It's just right with skirts. And those sandals with all the laces are super fab!

I think it's incredibly cool. I love it with the pencil skirts especially. The colours are amazing with your eyes and the pattern makes me think of your trips and iceberg photos.
