Um, without divvying up by season:
(1) Raincoat/lightweight unlined parka/anorak in navy or black or grey, or a bright colour like pink or red
(2) Bootcut jeans, dark wash, with stretch, mid-rise
(3) Charcoal or grey or black&white dressy skirt, whether pencil or A-line
(4) Wide-leg pants with a good drape, possibly chocolate brown or tan or grey
(5) Patterned blouse in soft, drapey material, length right to tuck or not, sleeves at least elbow-length or longer; colour to coordinate with jeans, skirt or pants
(6) White Indian tunic, with some kind of woven or embroidered texture to it
(7) Scrunchy Indian churidar leggings --- mine have to be stretch (jersey?) and not woven otherwise they either bag at the knee or rip(!)
(8) Boots or shoes that are seriously waterproof for wading, in dark neutral colour or bright mid-tone if raincoat is dark
(9) Nude sandals, wedge or block or stacked heel, no more than 2 inches
(10) Dressy black flats --- oxfords or mary janes or pumps, possible to use with skirt above or eveningwear
If seasonal variation is allowed for, I'd like to swap in:
(11) silk-wool blend stole in a plummy shade, pashmina or other fine wool instead of the raincoat
(12) black or charcoal sweater for layering, longer sleeves, but not high neck, pretty enough to wear on its own --- instead of the Indian tunic
(13) patterned or textured dressy jacket that can also be dressed down --- in lieu of Indian leggings
(14) summer dress in solid saturated colour or softer-coloured print --- swap out the rainproof boots/shoes
(15) linen or silk shell that can translate to evening wear -- instead of either summer dress or stole
