Mona - I don't want to presume and offer up armchair psychology here but.......(haha) I find that when the body issues rear their ugly head, it's often aggravated or enhanced by (or maybe even caused by) other things going on in one's life too. Do you ever find that the case ? I'm struggling with fit too - but it's also been a horrible and trying year on a personal level too, and everything ends up being all tied in together creating one big web of frustration. The forum has been both a good and a "less than good" resource for me during this time. Again, I get how you are feeling - and disheartening is a perfect word for it. Hey, I try to remember that everything is fluid in life, including our bodies, our levels of confidence, and what we are going through at any given time. p.s. strategy for pants when weight shifts? I have no answer to that either - I'e had to buy a few new pair this fall, which is not a bad thing, as silhouette and fit has also changed and I wanted a more current look. I am trying not to get hung up on size and label and numbers - and just going with what looks best. Easier said than done, I know. I am avoiding any postings and discussions re: what size of jeans etc fits who, and whether certain labels fit more generously than others - it's all too able to make me feel bad.
