I'm a visual person, too, Marilyn. I think that's why I have such a hard time with written style descriptors. I need to see pictures or videos or whatever. I can't begin to tell you how much I've learned from YouTube, lol.

Oh yes. I'm constantly looking at pictures....Pinterest or whatever. Even if I'm just spelling a word I sometimes need to jot it down for a visual.
A picture is worth a thousand words, right.

This wouldn't work for me, because I don't have anything in my closet that I don't like! (Thanks to YLF)

Also, I can't get behind the list of "essentials" on the margin -- these are not my essentials. But I do like the concept of picking some essentials and ensuring you have them. They just have to be personal ones.

I am really liking my clothes at the moment, I feel I'm making good choices, and narrowing down what works for me and why. I just keep seeing MORE things that will work well for me!

I would edit the essentials list to MY personal essentials. I don't pay much attention to what others think I should have.

I've purged the things from my wardrobe that I don't like. But, I have made mistakes along the way so I try to be mindful of what went wrong and why.

I tend to have the same problem as Elizabeth, lol. And for that matter, I can't think of anything I've purged that I want back. When I decide to purge, I decide to purge, ya know? I'm a decisive person for the most part.

I think I keep a mental list of my wardrobe items and what I've purged and why. I also always think of different ways of styling a piece before I buy it. I'm a better shopper now than pre-YLF, but it has taken time! I think I'm a slow learner because I need it spelled out v e r y c l e a r l y what works and why or why not. It's only the last year I've been able to do my own interpretations of i.e. Angie's ensembles.
