Here are a few recent January WIWs.
1-2: a handknit sweater over skinnies and my cherry red docs (I also added some scrunched grey socks - I don't know if you can see them very well here though). I matched my coat to my shoes this time.

3: It was unseasonably warm on this day so I leapt at the chance to actually wear some crops for a change (over high shaft booties - still not warm enough for bare ankles!). The patterned tee and gold toe boots add some maximal flair to an otherwise simple outfit.

4-5: another outfit with the new Free People jacket. I went for a double ruffle effect with the ruffled collar blouse and the peplum jacket. The bow print on the blouse adds to the effect too.

6-7: a handknit cabled sweater over statement skinnies. Added a statement necklace for good measure too.
