Hooray for the return of jacket weather!

-2: Finally getting a chance to break out my NAS purchases. This is the Caslon knit blazer, which I ended up getting in a size small petite (it runs REALLY large). I like the fit on this size so much better than the sloppy fit of the M I ordered originally! Paired it with my new cotton/silk handknit shell, cropped black jeans, and oxfords. These jeans were originally slim straight legs that I had hacked. I asked for the original hem to be reattached, which ended up giving them a little bit of unexpected flare at the bottom, but I've decided I like that!

pink linen moto layered over my oversized allsaints top with some more hacked jeans (this time with a raw hem) and slip on sneakers. I think I would actually have preferred this with other shoes (see the following outfit, actually) as the slip ons felt a bit stumpy. Also, I am clearly moving away from hectically oversized looks - I wore this sans jacket for a while during the day and the super voluminous top definitely felt too big. I much preferred it with the jacket to rein it in.

pattern mixing with my floral bomber over stripes. I'm really liking the idea of pairing florals with stripes recently. These are the same hacked jeans as in #3, only I got annoyed with all the loose threads that had accumulated and cut them off, lol. I like the jeans better with the more streamlined teal sneakers here than with the slip ons in the previous outfit.

a skirt outfit for a warmer day with my full blush skirt, sheer silk blouse over a tank, and pink oxfords.
