Three recent summer outfits each featuring at least one voluminous piece. Lately I've realized that I prefer to have at least one loose, slouchy, or otherwise voluminous piece per outfit, whether it be a drapey blouse, a poufy skirt, drapey cardigan, or slouchy pants. The overall fitted/bombshell look makes me so uncomfortable (in fact, I recently returned a very well-fitting knit sheath dress because it was too bombshelly).

1. 07.26.12 - Slouchy black crops paired with a blousy sleeved tee and the platform sandals I've been wearing a ton lately. A bit dark for summer, but I am happiest in dark, saturated colors!
Gap tee, French connection pants, Naot platform sandals, Ann Taylor necklace

2/3. 07.25.12 - The voluminous item here is the skirt, although the top is a bit blousy too. This outfit was exciting because I actually got to wear a jacket for the first time in weeks!!! (Went to a night-time outdoor Shakespeare performance, and it actually got a wee bit nippy at night.)
BR top, Tulle skirt chopped from a dress, AE jacket, Naot sandals, Macy's necklace

4. 07.20.12 - Debut of the All Saints Big Tee! With denim clams and yellow gladiators.
All Saints tee, Radcliffe jeans, Fly London sandals, gifted pendant
