Angie's Friday ensemble post is pretty much my uniform outside of work in warm weather. Unless it is some kind of special occasion, I tend to wear denim shorts and a nice top 80% of time. The hat is less common but I do wear one if the sun is very strong and I will be outside for a while as I burn easily.
Here are are two such outfits from past weekend.
#1 is what I wore on Saturday 5/20 to run a bunch of errands: relaxed faded BF denim shorts (7FAMK), graphic knitted top (Ted Baker), silver belt ( J Crew) and sandals (BC footwear), with a fun navy/white striped floppy hat (Gap).
#2 is from Sunday 5/21 when I went to a casual backyard barbecue hosted by a work colleague. My boss was there as well, so I went for more covered up version with long shorts/clamdiggers . The outfit consisted of the clamdiggers (COH), navy-white striped cowl neck top (Mango), bone studded gladiator sandals (Luxury Rebel), studded navy belt (random Amazon find), white/black cross body bag (BR) and a tan floppy straw hat.
