Today was my first foray out ( except for doctors' appointments ) in 7 weeks ! It was a tough start to the year. But what a first afternoon/evening out !
I wore #4 out to the movies with my kids, husband and sister. Right in front of the theater, in broad daylight was a 17 year old boy with two little boys ( 10 - 12 ) smoking pot !! And there were people everywhere. So I called security and then went over to them. The two young ones ran off and the older one gave me lip. I told him that he should be ashamed of himself for doing drugs with a couple of young kids...anyway. I think security got them and I felt that my boots were great for "saying no to drugs " LOL.
Oh, my belt is army green, matching the sweater with a red stripe and brown matching the boots. Tweed ponte knit shift dress. Clarks boots. Land's End sweater.

NPM posted a picture of these a couple of weeks ago and I LOVED them. I had been looking for a pair of slouchy ( like Kellygirl ) tall black boots. These are unbelievably comfortable and supple .......I am going to give away two other pairs of black boots because now I realize that I wasn't completely happy with them.
5. I might have posted this before. It was warm here a few days ago so I am wearing a cotton Land's End sweater, a silk scarf, Gap jeans, Clarks ankle boots.
Suggestions always welcome !! I take them VERY seriously. : ) I have not been to the hairdresser since November, because of my health. But I will be booking a appointment this week.
