I bought these shoes last year from Zulily. They had a lovely tan color but I wasn't quick enough, but loved them so got them in white. I couldn't wait to wear them but every time I tried they did not seem right. So today is my first time out of the house with them. I liked them with this. What do you think? And any ideas on what they would go with?

Also just discovered the beautiful linen blends that JJill offers! Oh my goodness! I'm wearing this green cardigan which is on the 30% off sale right now. The scarf also. I got a couple other things too. I love the lightness and feel of linen but not the care or wrinkles. These blends are wonderful and you can wash and sometimes dry if you like. LOVE!

ETA: My boss just saw them and said "Oh! Cool shoes!" Yay!

i think this a super outfit. the color is lovely and the accessories are all perfect.
you might like the shoes with with a white-out look - they would stand out less, but add really interesting structure/texture.

Cute outfit! I am closely studying how you did your scarf ... did you twist it a bit? Is it square or a long rectangle?

Thanks Denise. It is a long rectangle. Very light and airy. I started with one end longer, took the shorter end and looped around neck, and let it dangle. No twisting or tying. I think the fabric helps it lay nice. No fuss.

Beautiful shoes. They make every outfit contemporary. But I understand your styling questions. With this outfit I would say they are perfect. You look fabulous (a boss with an eye for outfits, that is rare).
I cannot help you further. I had similar ones in bronze and couldn't style them with anything. In the end I gave them away. Stupid but true. Now that I see you, I think "you should have tried a bit harder Greetje". Oh well. No use crying over spilled milk.

Thanks donnat! Thanks Beth Ann! I hadn't been to a JJill in years and was really amazed with their linen blends. I duplicated (actually triplicated!) a light sweater in gray and purple from the clearance section, and a white one not on sale. Now I'm thinking I'll try the white one for the white-out.

I like how you styled them. Other ideas, white pants and bright shirt, grey that gets lighter with each section to create ombre.

I agree, very cool.
This is an example to me of how edgier footwear amps up the cropped pants. And they are summery but not to dainty to stand up to the outfit proportions.

Those shoes are cool! You look great. I always feel like I need to balance out white shoes (I only do white sandals, nothing with full foot coverage in white) with a white top or jacket, but I think even a white belt helps balance the look.

As Unfrumped said, these shoes will update any outfit. You look Fabuolous! You might be sure to have a white belt and white bag ( or two) to bookend if you need to make an outfit more cohesive when wearing these shoes and something seems off. You don't need to use both, just one.y

Those are cool shoes and I love the whole outfit. I like the shape of everything together, and the green-on-green effect, with white to bring it alive. And the scarf pulls it all together.

Wow, you look really great in green, and I LOVE the shoes. They are a great summer pic, and I agree that they will go well with any outfit with either an accent of white in the top or with a white belt. They ought to be very versatile.

Fabulous outfit Donna - I really like the tonal quality with the varying shades of green. Like Denise, I really like how you did the scarf. I have a couple of scarves that I need to wear because I do love the colors and patterns - might have to try this method.
