WIWCC-Valentines (3 days)

To continue the Color Challenge:
Tuesday ( 1/2): is an outfit I wore to meetings, red- orange EF dress, taupe jacket, booties and bag
Wednesday (3/4): worn to teach. Pink and white. Pink floral top under a thrifted merino pink hoodie, white EF jeans, pink socks and added my white booties.
Thursday: I started out with 5 and did not like it (red pants, red graphic sports hoodie under tweedy jacket).
I changed into a more tomato red outfit of pants, turtleneck, quilted vest, white booties. (6) I felt like too much red so added white and grey scarf not styled here. (7)
I am curious to know what you think works and what does not.

I LOVE #6. That's my KILLER fave. I like all the red, and pop of white on your feet. That said, you broke it up well with the scarf in #7. Nicely done.

#3/4 has a nice Spring vibe, and #2 is lovely too.

Another Fabber who glows in red! Your red dress is a great length on you, I love it. I'm a big hoody fan and think the pink one is really pretty in with the floral under it. The white boots and scarf are so excellent to contrast the red in 6 and 7. Finally, what is this delightful pom-pom, and why don't I have one?

Thank you, Angie. I am so excited and humbled to get a Killer.
Christie, I use the pompoms for fun and for something for the grandchildren to play with. They are very inexpensive. Try a craft store or even Walmart in the jewelery section near the handbags..
Bonnie and Rachylou, your choices stand out for me as you are so observant.
Cee, what a lovely thing to say. People did notice and comment on the red today.

Brooklyn, that is one of my favorite pieces and always gets compliments when I wear it. I just wish it was a tiny bit longer. Thank you for your comment.

Shevia. those are probably my favorites too. I think the parrerned top keeps the icy pink from washing me out completely. As one gets older one has to consider ,"do I look invisible in this?"

I am with the others - red is fantastic on you. More love for the red dress. I can only imagine how it can be dressed up or down and changing its vibe with different accessories. You look gorgeous in it. Another fantastic piece are the red trousers in 5 and those in 6-7. Both pairs look awesome. 6-7 are really nice outfits. But I also quite like 5. What haven’t you liked about it?
The pink outfit is lovely - very soft vibe, and you are not by any means invisible - the top and the white jeans make it crisp. Great nod to spring.

Katerina, thank you for your kind comments. Some of the pieces in outfit 5 have served their purpose and can move on. They are not my best shade of red, not tomato but more of a cherry red or fire engine red. ( more bluish). The pants are now too tight in the waist and the graphic hoodie has some staining on the front. The jacket is a favorite but did not fit well over the long sleeves of the hoodie top. I will probably play with the jacket some more but the trousers and hoodie top are on their way out. The red trousers in 5 are light weight, light enough for summer, so they may be missed and need to be replaced. The trousers in 6/7 are heavier and lined..
Thank you for the lovely comments about the dress.. I do use accessories with it in different ways. It is handy to have from Thanksgiving through New Years too.
