WIW yesterday - MOTG

Hey everybody! This is what I wore to bible stuydy yesterday and then to pack for my son's band trip. I was feeling especially frumpy, so I pulled out one of my go to outfits that always makes me feel great, and it worked!

Floaty top: banana republic
Grey tank: BR
Skinny jeans: BR
Gold sandals: Loft

I'm trying to decide if I need a new basic bag for spring/summer, so tell me what you think of my options. So sorry the pics are sideways - I tried to rotate them with my picture software, but somehow it didn't work.

Jilly I just have to say how amazing you look in those skinny jeans, you have superb legs.Those sandals look fantastic. The bag in 4 & 5 is lovely I think you should use that a lot!!

Your cheery smile is your best accessory! But a close second (from where I sit) would be those metallic sandals! Just so you know, where I live, we're still in dark boots!

The blouse looks so fresh and springlike.

What a refreshingly pretty blouse, Jilly! I LOVE it with the green bag --- no-brainer, in my opinion, as it picks up the tones of the print; and is the signature colour of spring worldwide. But there's something extremely charismatic about the confident pairing in #4/5 --- VERY up-to-the-minute, a little edgy, a little devil-may-care and a little The Devil Wears Prada

The white bag, by contrast, is feeling a little lost in terms of scale and colour. (I can see a colour with more 'presence', a 'loud' orange or fuchsia say, making itself felt in the same size though.)

Rachylou: thnx! I picked up this top last summer @ a BR sale.
Suz: you are so sweet! I do love these gold sandals and they put me in a great mood. (Btw, I live just north of Houston, which is why it's springy).
Angie: thnx so much for your comments - I did try to rotate the pics with my photo software, but for some reason they didn't save that way; maybe my hubby can help me figure it out. I'm really enjoying all the good info on YLF!

ManidapaM: did not mean to leave u out - I agree the white bag is too pale, and gets lost in the top; I like the green bag, too; I took a closer look, though, and the wires are starting to poke out of the bottom; may need to look for a replacement;). I do like the last bag; it's a little heavy in appearance, but I think I'll try to work it for spring! Thnx so much for your comments.
