Obviously I took some liberties with today's neutrals ensemble. I realized I don't have any summer-weight grey pants (maybe a wardrobe hole?), and I really wanted to wear the ink/black/white tunic and cognac belt and shoes, so I went with the closest thing I had, which was taupe. The big black bag is non-negotiable because it's a laptop-carrying day. I don't have a grey purse anyway (although I do have a silver backpack, which might have been fun). Well, it's neutral anyway.

As an aside, this is the first time I've worn a belt over a top/dress in a long time. Fun for a change but I still like the long unbroken, no-belt lines best, I think. It's not an option with this particular combination because the tunic is too long for the crops without a belt.

H&M tunic, French connection crops, Gap belt, Dansko sandals, and Longchamp bag.
