When I set out to shop my closet, I read all of the posts on the various threads about shopping my closet....to get tips/tricks to make the venture a successful one. One of the best tips I read, was having "themes" for each week. Last week, I set out with the mindset of wearing skirts - and this week I wanted to focus on slacks.

1. Black slacks - Gap Trousers, Black Turtleneck, and Inky Blue/Purple Sweater - This was a basic outfit that was really comfortable.

2. I had two important business meetings this week that required suits. The first, shown here, is a slate gray suit that I paired with a blue button down top. I did not feel very fab in this look. While I loved my suit, I did not like the fit of the top under the suit jacket. I have decided that button down tops are just not my favorite item of clothing.

3. This is my Mom-on-the-Go outfit. I sported this look while taking my daughter to church and out for errands.

4. The 2nd suit of the week. I have had this suit for nearly 6 years. It was a gift from my parents when I completed graduate school and got my first corporate job. While the suit has served me well, I think that it no longer fits properly and I need to let it go.

As always, I welcome you thoughts, comments, feedback.
