@Kyle - Thank you for the compliment.
@Loves Moose - Until your comment, I had not given much thought to the fact that my suits are not a very femine look for me. I prefer to wear the more girly outfits, but in my line of work there are times that a suit is required. I guess I need to start looking for more modern suits.
@Sveta - I had not thought about using another type of jacket so that I get the look of the suit, but in a more modern way. I also like your suggestion of using a cream necklace or scarf with the blue button down. I will have to play around with the look and see if the piece will work for me in that way.
@Cocolion - As soon as you made your comment about a more feminie blouse, I began thinking of the various tops that I could wear to make this look a little softer...a little more me.
@Kelly - Thank you for taking the time to post. I agree that the deep colors work better for me, and that these suits do not have the same zing.
@Rute - I never felt big before my daughter, but I am smaller. I think it is due to the fact that I lifted weights during and after my pregnancy, so everything is tighter and more toned.
@Sharon - The suit in #4 is ill fitted. It is already in the donation pile. I think that you are on point with finding jackets that are more fitted. I seem to get lost in jackets that are too unstructured.
The photo is what I am wearing today. Does the jacket fit any better? Other thoughts/comments?
