WIW (warning - mostly loungewear) some I missed from the month

I realize I missed a few days. Now, bear with me - I know these are nothing to write home about, but I am doing this more for myself. Sort of a photo documentary of the real life day to day FL outfits. Sometimes I get in my head what I 'think' I need but the truth is I'm here with no car and not a lot of places I need to go. Lounging, or errand runs on foot in the heat comprise 95% of my time. And so, here it is - frizzy hair and all! :O

#1 is now at the thrift store. cute, but the print and colors are not me.
#2 to move furniture, seriously
#3 from lounge to the drugstore with the help of a belt, necklace, and sandals. Voila
#4 Also off to the drugstore for some reason . . .
#5 walking today to the post office 3 times in ungodly sticky heat. My face says it all.

By the way, if I were playing the Sesame Street game of 'one of these things doesn't belong' it would clearly be #1, the dress now at the thrift store. Funny how clear it is once I see a line up of pix lol.

Oh, too funny! I thought you meant, "This is what I'm wearing right now, at the thrift store."
I disagree though, I think the outfit that doesn't belong is the cozy, warm, airport outfit! I nearly passed out when I saw it because I thought you had trooped to the post office three times in that.

I love you in olive green. Really you can do no wrong in that color--or any green methinks. Great utilitarian outfits for your real life. I spent much of the last week at home with DD (recovering from wisdom teeth removal) and you would shudder to see some of my gear + apron getups!

LOL Claire! I only could wear that because I was a) leaving from Tahoe and b) arriving in FL at 1am.
Funny you should mention utilitarian . . . I was musing to myself yesterday that my look these days is basically utilitarian feminine. And, yeah, a 'real life' check up is always good. My imagination runs wild with the imaginary/fantasy lifestyle if not!
And hey, there's a time and a place for aprons!

Lookin good, Mo! I agree that the maxi doesn't look entirely "you" anymore - on to greener pastures. Your belts are making great appearances once again, and I love the travel outfit with our cargo jacket.

The dress in #1 strikes me as something you'd have held onto a year ago, but must say that it doesn't jive with your style for me either so I'm glad it's been passed on. Love seeing how you use your belts and jewelry to amp up outfits when you head out. And #7 looks like such a comfy travel outfit, and cute to boot!

If I looked like you in loungewear I'd be hard pressed to wear anything else. Thank you so much for showing these, the additions make such a differenIce. That is something I am trying to learn.

What are those trousers in 6 and 7? Love the tunic and boots look. In fact, I have a dress that is too short that I would like to make into a tunic and this is the exact look I envisioned.

Angie, your faves happen to be mine, too! I also like the cobalt top look. The rest were nothing to keep in a faves file or anything lol.
Freckles, I am just now coming around to how quick and easy a belt or necklace addition is before running out the door. My newest lesson is to find flats that express my style as well as my boots and heels do, while still being comfy enough to just throw on.
