Here are two outfits based on the Valentine's ensembles that Angie posted yesterday. (I can actually do the third version, with the skirt, too, but it's too cold right now for my red skirt.)

1-3: Ruffles and Florals. I switched the ruffle and floral elements around, and paired a floral blouse with a ruffled peplum jacket. (The blouse does have some tiny ruffles as well, but they're not very obvious.) I also added an additional dose of floral (and bonus pattern mixing) with my big floral tote. My heart necklace (you can see it in #3) was not very visible, but I wanted to wear it for Valentine's day because it was a gift from my husband several years ago.
The floral blouse is a new purchase from J Crew's ongoing Liberty collab. I'm not a big wearer of buttondowns but I can't resist a Liberty print, especially when they're actually made of Liberty fabric (a lot of collabs just use the prints, but J Crew uses the actual fabric for the shirts at least, which is amazing). This one actually fits me better than my older J Crew Liberty shirt, because it's shorter.
(Free People jacket, J Crew Liberty shirt, Vince jeans, Born oxfords (replaced by snow boots when outdoors!), Kate Spade bag, Montblanc necklace)

4-5: Stripes and Docs. It's still too icy/snowy on the sidewalks to wear sneakers, so I substituted my cherry Doc Martens. Paired with magenta blazer, b/w striped tee, and black skinnies. Plus the floral bag again. =)
(Tinley Road blazer, AT tee, CoH skinnies, Doc Marten boots, Kate Spade bag).

Thanks Angie for the ensembles and inspiration!
