WIW today - new tights

Here's what I wore today. It was really cold and windy and I even wore my coat when I did some errands. Sorry I'm headless, but I was helpless without my tripod. Look at my new tights! Aren't they gorgeous? Is the top too long? I didn't like the way it looked tucked in.

And I promised to keep you up to date - I got the job! Now I just have to hope that I get uni and work hours coordinated, or I have to call it off myself. I'll know more on Monday!

Fun tights! I don't think the top looks too long, I like it scrunched up like that for texture. Congrats on the job.

Yes, wonderful, fun tights! And scrunching the top totally works. I do that a lot when I don't want to tuck or wear a belt. As long as the top isn't drapey or baggy, you can shorten it this way, IMO. Congrats on the job! What will your uniform look like?

Claire, I won't have a uniform per se. From what I've seen they all dress very casual. I'll have in fact contact with the public, but the users are all scientists and students and there's no dress code. I'll probably dress like I always do. The only thing I have to think of is that I have to wear 8-hour shoes for some walking.

Love the way the top and tights work together. The top looks perfect on you. I have one like that which I purchased last year and have worn maybe twice, both times last year. I think I'm too lumpy for the look.
