My boyfriend and I celebrated a sunny day by watching the Blue Angels airshow. (The US Navy air demonstration team does an airshow every year over Lake Washington in Seattle. It's kind of a rarity - and a bit inconvenient for locals - because they close one of the two floating bridges/freeways that connects Seattle to the east side of Lake Washington. You can actually walk out a bit onto the freeway to watch the show by foot, although plenty opt to watch by boat or from nearby parks/buildings, too. I included a few photos that we snapped just for fun. It's hard to take clear shots with a point-and-shoot camera when planes are zooming directly overhead unexpectedly, though!)

I swear that I applied suncreen liberally before leaving the house, but unfortunately I couldn't find my usual SPF 55, so 30 had to do. As you can see, it didn't do well enough!

I wore my black Karen Kane sleeveless dress, black zippered leggings, beige and black Chanel-esque flats, my white watch, hammered silver earrings with tiny pearl beads, and a periwinkle purse. Despite the sunburn, I was glad that I went sleeveless, because it got extremely hot! After the show, we had a great visit with my grandpa.
