I'm sure I wore something to work on Monday but I don't remember and I didn't take a pic

tues (5) - my standard suit with leopard shirt and my leopard dansko's which I can not even begin to tell you how much the students love when they wear

Weds (1 -2) - This skirt would be an example of what angie dubbed as organized emotional shopping. Visited my absolute favorite boutique haven't shopped at in months because I tended to only shop for my fantasy life. Now that I have built a capsule and organized my closet - I bought a pretty and was team wear right away.

Thurs (3)- Gray out - great striped shirt from target that I ruined dying my daughters hair blue for wacky hair day. Glad it was only 6 dollars.

Fri (4)- inspired by angies post today and hated it. Tossed the shirt in the wash am thanking it for teaching me a lesson in life and what I like to wear and moving on. This is one of my bought at the boutique because i was lured in by the prettiness but haven't worn in the two years I owned. It is to low cut and I have to wear a tank under and it is to form fitting for a tank so I feel like I have a zillion layers and was adjusting all day.

You are rocking that new skirt!

I so identify with getting a shirt or other clothing item and having to fiddle with it all day - I can't stand it either - if I have to keep fussing with it and can't fix whatever is causing the problem then it has to go.

You wear suits beautifully! And your new skirt is very flattering and looks like it will remix well. Good for you getting rid of fussy clothes. Life's too short!

Nice outfits! The shirt in #4 is very pretty, but I don't like fussy clothes either. I really like the skirt in #1 and the outfit in #4. Too bad about the shirt in #3 as it looks versatile.

I'm liking number 1 and 4 the best. Those shaped shirts can be annoying so maybe it should go, but the way you put the outfit together was really nice and the print and colors of the shirt added a lot of interest. Maybe a button down blouse in a silky fabric instead?

Thank you for all the wonderful feedback. I always get great feedback when I wear color - bright blues, pinks and reds. I'm now at my closet rebuilding phase where I am starting to add them back in. I loved this shirt because of the color but with my hips and backside without the sweater it doesn't look the best and has to be constantly adjusted. I have taken note and will look to add a shirt in this type of vibrant blue/green back into the mix.

As for the top in #4, I totally understand its appeal. And also understand why it won't work for you. Tugging and stressing about one's clothes is just...BLEAH.

It's true you wear color especially well, but outfits number 1 and 4 were also structured differently. In both, you incorporated flattering vertical elements, the side panels on the skirt in number 1, and the eye attracting color and print of the blouse in number 4.
I'm glad you're including pinks and reds in your colors because as nice as blue is on you I was thinking you'd be really pretty in those other colors too!
