WIW: Taking the olds for a jaunt

Happy Easter YLFers - had to resort to selfies this morning all my photographers are still abed.

I read Angie's post just in the nick of time as I headed to the boudoir to select an outfit for my weekly coffee with my parents.

Wasn't sure I had the wardrobe items but voila -
Jean jacket I've had for 10 years but for some reason can't part with
Grey surreal skull pattern T
Black slim straights
White gladiator sandals
Couldn't resist over egging the pudding with the Celtic cross ear rings

I am so not trendy I wonder if I pulled it off. How did I do?

Hi Lyn - we're getting the tail end of Cyclone Ita as it slowly moves down the Island - just my luck I took the days off between Easter and ANZAC day hope it fines up.

Wow this looks great. I think you have managed to add 'edge' with the abstract skull tee instead of going with stripes which often read a little more classic. Very cool vibe to this. YLF

"Taking the olds for a jaunt" that is so cute....makes me smile and laugh. But I am afraid for when my kids start thinking that! Lol. Anyhow, your outfit is cute, I love your sandals!

I agree with everyone this looks great, interesting without even using color, just black - grey and textures. The sandals are perfect for adding a more "extravagant" touch, and keep it from looking too serious, in my opinion.
