@Firecracker: Thanks! I really liked Scooby with the camo pants. I honestly didn’t think it worked but it’s been my favorite combination so far. I’m glad the cargo vest is getting some love. I haven’t worn it much at all lately. I tend to default to the cropped vests most of the time.

@Mo: Thanks so much. It’s taken me awhile to get here. I used to buy for my imaginary life--and sometimes still do. The fact is, I am 98% casual. Even when we do manage to go out, it’s almost always still casual! Love graphic tees too but try to keep those in check--cats and scooby
@Suz: Thanks! You are definitely in the polished casual camp but I think your style is much more elegant than mine. Your style is what I aspire to. My other major consideration is whether something is machine washable. I’m too lazy for special care items. Wash and wear is my mantra (preferably no ironing too.)

@pil: Thank you. I’m glad that my outfits come across as interesting. After wearing them all summer, I’ve begun to tire of them a bit. I’m ready for fall I ended up returning the greyish capris but kept the white ones. I couldn’t really figure out how to style them--white seemed like the best option and I already had black. They had navy when I went back to return but figured the color was too close to my dark denim so resisted those as well. Sorry they didn’t work out for you. The white ones were perfect for vacation.
@lisap: Thanks! I’ve never been a vest person before YLF. I love them as a third piece. They manage to add a little interest and warmth in a mild climate.
