Hello

Sigh - I am so boring.
I tend to stick to the same old recipe...

1 Shirt dresses with skinnies.. ( I love shirt dresses!!)
2 And swap the shirt dress for a long cardigan with ruched shoulders and a scarf.

Boring! I call these two my 'uniforms' as most of my outfits seems to be variations of these with different coloured shoes and bags.

Anyone else have a casual uniform?

lol Kristie if that is you being boring, please do not show me anything you think is exciting. My poor old heart will not be able to stand it!!!
You look gorgeous in that.
My casual uniform for the summer weekend is jeans, blue or white, plus tops various with toppers of waistcoates or shrugs. Bangels & beads I hope give a little lift.

Oh waistcoasts and shrugs! Two things I have never tried. Great idea, adding some cool layers....

One way to give some spice to this cute "uniform" could be a small square silk scarf.

Well, I work from home and my uniform are tees and sweat pants :-)) It just isn't practical to wear nicer stuff.

But, for running errands/going to the grocery etc. I like to clean up and try to wear new combinations of the things I already own.

For what it's worth Kristie, I think you look superfab in this shirt dress!

Why don't I think of these simple ideas (small scarves)... I love those in the pics.
I even own a couple (not as nice as these though)

Maybe your uniform will sound more exciting as your "signature style"? I think it's a really good formula! I also tend to always wear boots/bootcut jeans/utilitarian jackets or shorts/belts/tanks for my casual outfits. I suppose it's sort of uniform-ish, but I think it's fine if you have variation in colors and patterns.

Your uniform works very well on you, if it works, why change right? My winter uniform this year, was: tall boots tucked into skinnies, blazers, and scarves. I decided it was a chance to show off my scarf collection while keeping my neck warm.

Kristie, that outfit may feel boring to you, but you look just fabulous in it! What a great "uniform" to have.

I have two fall-back formulas: low-slung jeans with a fitted tee and funky shoes, or above-the-knee skirt with fitted tee and funky boots. The footwear is key!

I think this looks great, uniform or not! You can always try small scarves as Krishnidoux suggested (love that third photo!), a long colorful pendant, and bright belts/shoes can add some extra punch. So will adding some shine in there (say a patent belt or high shine patent shoes). Can't say I have a uniform, I dress all over the place ><
