It's FRIYAY! Well here in Aus anyway:). Hope everyone has had a fantastic week. So looking forward to my Saturday sleep in!!

I'm doing a lot of shopping my closet at the moment and I'm watching the Spring styles arriving. It's a little hard to think about Spring clothes when it's still so cold...but I'm doing my
best lol

I have picked up two new items for the warmer months that I thought I would show you.

#1/2 is a lovely striped hi/lo top with a 3/4 sleeve. Neckties are trending here so I thought I'd give one a try. I love stripes but find very few striped items that really excite me. This one I love! Not sure why.

#3 Crepe tunic that I cannot wait to wear. Similar to one Angie highlighted recently. It may be a while before it's warm enough for this one

Asymmetric, diagonal stripes always more interesting(and flattering), love this one, is it layered over a longer tank(I know you often do that:-)) or it's own doubled hem there? I always love a great bl&w outfit, and you did it so very well!

With my fall/winter updates, I am trying to be very specific. I have spent this last few weeks before the new school year starts going though my wardrobe and reassessing what I will wear/what needs to go, and what I would like to purchase. I've been taking it item by item, and so far, so good.

That striped top looks great with the Motto jacket, and the narrow scarf sends the eye up and down for a flattering lengthening effect!

Such great stripes. It's like regular stripes, but with your own unique twist (or diagonal, as the case may be). That jacket is great too.

The stripe top is fantastic on you, Deborah. I think the diagonal and the irregular stripes both make it interesting, and not the traditional look. I prefer my stripes with a little non-traditional element, too. The neck tie has such an impact on this outfit, too, giving it an extra bit of drama. The jacket works beautifully over the longer top.
Great new airy tunic, too. That will be a gorgeous and fun piece for summer.
