WIW: Sporty Casual - YouLookFab Forum

Cool weather this morning, and this blog post made me opt for this outfit. I hadn't really thought before that mesh sweaters were sporty (silly me - clearly they are).

This sweater is from last year - from Susie. The boyfriend jeans are ones that I usually cuff narrower, but Neel's bf jeans looked so great with the wide cuff that I had to try it. Does it work here? Finally, even though I have several pair of cons style sneakers, none are white. So I'm wearing my white/gray camo pair.

Happiness factor this morning is rather high. I like the sporty look, I think.
(pic #2 is only one roll on the jeans - I think I like two better)

Pardon the lack of combed hair and make-up. It's Monday morning, and I'm going no where until evening. I might look more presentable by then....

Me too. I never thought that mesh sweaters were coming from sports wear. This just goes to show how unsporty I am. I like the outfit with two rolls. I think it makes it more summery with lots of skin showing.
I have the same top with mesh sleeves from GAP and enjoy wearing it often in summer.

Love the double roll and the semi tuck. The camo sneaks add pattern interest to the outfit. Super Fun!

ETA: I had to go back and search for the wide cuff in my outfits. Lol! I am not sure if you are talking about my skinnies. The skinnies were too long and I did one wide cuff unintentionally. Glad you liked it :). I know MsMary does wide cuffs like nobody's business.

I do think it was your skinnies - on your challenge, in the "how I layer" section is a wide cuff. It must have stuck with me, because in my mind, your bfs were wide cuffed too (but obviously, they aren't, not that I look back at them )

Really nice casual outfit. I love the semi-tuck I can't make up my mind about which cuff I liked better, which is not really helpful is it? I defer to the more knowledgable fashionistas!

I like the idea of the big cuff but would like to see it up higher still, which would make the cuff bigger and net you more skin at the ankle/foot. Two rolls looks good, but up that high I think a narrower roll would work better. LOVE the look though, it's light and sporty in the best way. The shoes work quite well!
