Happy Hump day ladies!
You may remember I was on the lookout for some sleek sneakers in silver grey a couple of weeks back? Well this is the first outing of my new Geox pearly silver sneaks. It was our lovely forum member Jane who pointed me in the direction of Geox, so thank you Jane!
I have more of a need for some comfortable flat shoes this week as my car's gearbox has something drastically wrong with it. We had decided that I should change my car two weeks back and I should be getting a new car before the end of the month. Buuut, my car that was driving really well has decided to throw it's toys out the pram and go wrong....I swear it knows I'm getting rid of it!
So, consequently I'm walking each day halfway to school and back with DS to help carry his really heavy schoolbag.
Anyway, onto my outfit. The slim bf, cropped jeans you've seen before(in fact you're probably sick of seeing them), but the sweater is hot off my sewing machine as of yesterday. It's made from a fine ribbed viscose, tencel, cotton blend that I got from an eBay seller. I barely had enough fabric so the eagle eyed amongst you can probably see some seams across the sleeves where I joined cross grain fabric together to get enough for a full length sleeve. Even the neck binding used the off-cuts from the hem...
