Hi,

We are starting to reach the hotter days (90s F) and I've been wearing Bermuda shorts to work. One general question, are the sandals too casual for these outfits, should I have worn my pumps instead?

#1-Blue and Pink
Staying true to team blue today.

#2-Lilac and Black
The shirt is lilac. I've been having lighting issues for photos ever since the seasons changed. So far the best light is standing outside on the balcony, the neighbors must love me.

CUTE! I love that blazer. If I was allowed to wear bermuda shorts to work, I would totally emulate you. Maybe I'll still try to for smart casual summer outfits outside of work.

I like the way your blue toenails bookend your blue shirt in outfit #1. Very fab! No pumps required.

#2 is classic and fab too! How about a bit of sleeve scrunch?

Angie-I happily accept Captain Team Bermuda. How is the sleeve scrunched version? I think I like this more, it balances the bottom half better with the skin exposed on the arms. Thanks!

Love it! I'm a big fan of dressy shorts, and I would kill for that purple/pink blazer!

LOVE #2.. those sandals are perfect.
I do think I'd have opted for a bit dressier of a sandal with outfit #1. A heeled wedge like in 2 would have been perfect.

Kimana517-Thanks! I agree now that I have found dressy Bermuda's it would be hard to go back. I can't beat the versatility of these for use at work and on weekends.

Queen Mum-Thanks! Yes, something about the shoe in #1 looked "off" to me too. And I was wearing a wedge. I'll have to keep an eye on the wedges as they go on sale. Or would these new one's have worked better I wonder? Hmm...

Fabulous outfits! You look great in these shorts and I adore the blazer. I think the sandals look good with this, though pumps could definitely look cute too.

Scrunching the sleeves really elevated outfit #2...love it!

I love that blazer! I personally think I would prefer #1 with a dressier shoe, not necessarily a pump, but that is just my preference. I too would love to see #2 with the sleeves scrunched, but like those shoes with it! I think you look great in these shorts too!

These are such great looks. I don't wear bermudas as I feel they make my lower half even more disproportionately narrow, but you're SO making me want to try them!

I love both of these! #2 looks much better sleeves up (I was going to suggest scrunching or rolling for balance as well), and that lavender must just look so pretty with your blue eyes Is that BB shirt the slimmest fit (I forget the name..)? I think I need to try those.

Aida-Thanks! The lilac shirt is the "fitted" fit, in that I take a size 2. I also wear the "tailored" fit and in those I take a size 4. The "tailored" fit is the slimmest fit. Although I personally don't notice a difference between the two fit types. I have a "tailored" fit short sleeve shirt on in this post, outfit #4. Ok I just checked and the bulk of my shirts are actually the "fitted" fit, I seem to like this style more.

Lisa, you look polished and fab! The scrunching looks great with the second outfit. Perfect hot weather outfits, cool and professional.

(Thanks for the info! I will try both fits then, they do seem fairly close and I've no idea which will work better for me hehe)
