WIW: "Scary" Flora Mortis Tee

I wore my new AllSaints Flora Mortis Tee this morning, and when my youngest son Nole' saw me he said "Scaaaary!" (He is six w/Down syndrome.) I laughed so hard and thought, well he does have a point...it's dark and kind of spooky-looking in grey and black shades!

Anyways, I wore the tee and cropped twill pants with my new Vince d'Orsay flats to my son's IEP meeting at his school this morning. Hopefully, I didn't scare any of the teachers!

I really like the tee and its fluidity. In this pic, I look a little blocky, but it does feel great on. Maybe a should wear a jacket over it? Or style it completely differently?

I think it's really pretty on you Paula!! I like it with your coloring. Like a candle with your pretty hair! But I am the princess of darkness so feel free to disregard!! I have been considering that tee, I was not sure it was long enough, I like tunics, but it looks to be tunic length on you. I think it would look great under a blazer as well. Very pretty flats. I think you look totally elegant and on trend - or as your little guy was probably trying to say scary stylish mom!!

Thanks, Gryffin! I'm 5'7" and it's a tunic length on me....so it should work as a tunic on you just fine! The fabric is feels so nice and soft!

How is the sizing? I have been pining for this top and with some recent returns I could fund it. You look great and I can see a cropped vest or jacket over it, or a blazer.

I love it! Your tee and mine are cousins. Yesterday I wore my decadence tee (although mine is the shorter version with the diagonal sleeves) both with and without a jacket, and it's interesting that the jacket changed the vibe a lot (to Aida's point). Makes it more refined and less rocker/tough. I like that - it can work in a lot of different styles.

Alaskagirl.....I take a size 12 top usually and ordered a large. I think another Fabber here sent her M back for a S....so perhaps just a bit bigger than TTS.

Diana....Yeah cousins! I am glad that it will work with a shorter jacket. Can you believe I don't have one? Only Long jackets? I will have to remedy that! Have you posted a pic of you in yours yet and I missed it?

I wore it with my suit blazer but it did work with a more shrunken blazer as well.

You must have been having a dark day like me - I really like this - I'm not a huge fan of florals but I like the darker more graphic prints like your T

Great T shirt, you look fabulous. I really love the moody shades.
I tend to wear few prints but after seeing all of these wonderful printed tee's on YLF.............I think I " need" one
