WIW random over the last few days

#1 is tonight to grocery shop. It's the new top I got this week and love. I must admit I felt a little sassy in the store lol. But I think the cargo skirt and flats toned it down enough so I didn't feel ridiculous and overdressed as I would in, say a pencil skirt and pumps. #5 is bonus of the racerback. Did I mention I just love this top LOL?!?

#2 is what I got caught in earlier today, delivering lunch to the BF at work and then meeting his boss. Sigh. I was on the way to the pool and had my swimsuit underneath. It's a faded knit dress demoted to lounge wear and swimsuit cover up. Could have been worse, I suppose. (this is an older pic from when I still had to hobble up the stairs - not from today)

#3 was Saturday searching the town high and low, shopping for a loose white tee. Figured I'd wear the only white tee I had while looking.

#4 was 2 minute's notice to get to the bank on the BF's break Thursday to cash a check. I literally just grabbed a shirt, pulled on the bottoms, and hit the door. Fashion on the fly, you might say lol.

This is another installment in the 'real day to day outfits' of my life lol. Half of them were unplanned and uninspired, but it's honest

All of these look like great casual, on the go outfits. And don't you have hot weather, the racerback is perfect for that, so fun and more skin exposed hopefully means, cooler in the heat!

Yay, day to day fashion! You look great, Mo. I am not a ruffle person, but I love you in animal print. It suits you very well. The "swimsuit coverup" dress looks perfectly fine, nothing to be embarrassed about being caught out in. Your fashion on the fly look is very polished and fits you well.

I find many of your looks inspiring as I get ready for warmer temperatures, so thanks for posting!

Lisa, you're right the racerback does help with the heat - never really thought about that before.
Una, I wear my Natori Plunge Convertible under sometimes with the straps criss crossed, but this is a dedicated racerback bra I'm wearing (see pic).

Angie, so happy to hear you love the shorts! These are the Dickies Girl capris I had hemmed a few weeks back. I sure am getting extra mileage out of converting them to knee shorts after already having them as capris for 5+ years!

I just noticed I donned a dress, skirt, shorts and (cropped) pants. Guess I really am a sucker for variety!

These are great, Malina - real life fashion! 3 and 4 are my favourites - what is the bag you are carrying in 4? Is it a phone bag, or a 'real' purse? Thx for posting, I feel warmer just looking at these! So glad you're fully mobile again!

Lynne, that's my Hobo International wallet/card case. It has a great little chain on it that's removable. I bought it off eBay to replace my original simple black Hobo card case I lost. At first I didn't know what to think of the extra chain but now I like it - I can grab just my keys and loop my wallet around my wrist and go when it's a quick trip out the door.
And yes, I'm happy to be mobile but really really want to be able to run again soon!!

2-3-4 are my favorites. You look great in red, and you have a *perfect* figure so casual outfits like #3, although very basic, just look amazing on you. Please do not hesitate to call on this simple formula because you look so good in it! I like #4 too, it's cute and sassy.

Aida, I actually was on the hunt for the loose drapey tee for which both you and Jenava kindly pointed options out online for me. I was combing the local possibilities first, and came up empty handed but did stumble upon my $14 blue dot sundress, so all was not lost!
That top I found in a medium 2 weeks ago and resisted purchase. When I went to the sister store and found the small, I was giddy! It's Ali & Kris, a brand I'd never heard of until I got my crop cotton khaki moto on eBay a few months back. Juniors woven tops is their thing. I like their thing!

LOVE that racer back top! It looks so versatile - adorable with the little skirt you have on here and I can totally see it dressed up with a dressier skirt and heels. Or dressy Bermudas with some sassy shoes to match the sassy top!
