This was one of my "must haves" for fall. I adore wool, plaid, dresses, and midis so this dress is the embodiment of many of my favorite things! Today is a "clinic day" at school, so we're supposed to dress less like students and more like professionals (though there is not a business dress code, it's generally business casual or smart casual).
Originally I thought I'd wear the dress with my new Clark's Indigo booties (photo 4 ), but this morning I wasn't feeling it. I switched to my nude Nine West heels and felt much more pulled together, glamorous, and slightly vintage. The dress is a viscose/wool blend, so I didn't really need the sweater most of the day (they look great together, though, don't they?).

Incidentally, I think that this dress could really work with a pair of distressed oxfords like Aida wore with her midi to our meet-up. What do you think?
