Wow, I feel super out of practice after being away for so long.

I don't know why I felt like posting a WIW today, but I do! I have spent the last six months or so in a style slump (exacerbated by external stress, family issues, etc.) but lately have had glimmerings of interest. I have been out in the field for most of May so not much to speak of sartorially unless you want to see shirts, cargoes/jeans and workboots!

I turned 38 on Monday, and bought myself this shirt and a pair of Frye monk-strap oxfords that I can't wait to debut. I also duplicated my fave engineers in grey with a slightly longer shaft length.

This outfit is my current preferred silhouette. Drapey loose top over skinnies and boots. I haven't been half-tucking much at all for some reason! That seems to be enough for my freezing office but still ok for hot outside (although it's been all over the place weather-wise this spring!).

Tencel top, skinnies: Gap
Boots: Frye Engineer 8R
