Joining in Carla’s challenge to wear some oldies but goodies, I looked though my November items and found this sweater, that is at least 6 years old and this will probably be its last season due to pilling. It is a Goody because it is an open knit that can be worn like this with just a tank underneath it. When it is colder with a wool turtleneck under it. I also like that it is a soft rather faded black and the 3/4 sleeves and elastic welted bottom, making it easy to wear and more flattering than a really jet black, tighter sweater.
The jeans are also rather old ( at least 6 years) and long. They are comfortable NYDJs that pull on but seamed and not too baggy in the hips. The booties are new this year, navy Naturalizers. The scarf is from last year when I was on a mission to find a scarf that combines navy and black. It is a silk Vince Camuto long rectangle that I suspect will get lots of wear with its dark floral that includes white, mustard, rust, and a variety of greens.
Shall I shorten or tuck the jeans?
