Last week, for the Fashion Era challenge, I put together but did not actually wear a 70s outfit. Today I decided to modernize it in a way that I could actually wear it out. This involved ditching the ALGO belt and replacing it with my long black vest (more urban, less boho) and wearing lower shoes to eliminate the PPL violation.

I feel a little stumpy in this though. I think the longer length of the unbelted top + the big ruffle at the bottom is a bit stumpifying. Next time I'll switch to my longer dark bootcuts so I can wear platforms for a longer leg line.

Last photo is the original 70s outfit from the challenge.

(Liberty x Target blouse, Kenneth Cole New York vest, Lucky bootcuts, Born oxfords, MZ Wallace bag).
