WIW- I had been losing my love for this dress, but wore it anyway....

I haven't been feeling the love for my 9 West magic dress lately and have been considering sending it on, but decided to wear it yesterday and see how I felt. I almost changed before I left the house, but resisted. I can't tell you how many compliments I got on this dress yesterday.
I guess sometimes you just have to give something a rest for a while to appreciate it again.

I wouldn't have thought this necklace would work, but I thought I needed something to "marry" the denim jacket to the outfit. What do we think?

The second outfit was one I wore a bit ago but never posted the pic. I haven't been getting a ton of pictures lately.

Love both of these! I can see why you received a lot of compliments. I am crazy about that pendant in #3. Is it from this season?

Thanks Kappy- I get a ton of compliments on that pendant. It is a one-of-a-kind from a jewelry maker in Mount Shasta.

You look great, Kim! I can't believe I didn't run into you yesterday. I was at the mall too--returning some stuff for DH at the Rack. I made the rounds, albeit quickly--H&M, Justice, ON, Gap. I would have noticed that dress is a heartbeat! Love the jeans and booties outfit too--tres stylish!

I love that dress on you, Kim! Don't you dare let it go. Do you think you have just grown tired of it because of the pattern and brighter colors? That happens to me sometimes, but rest assured you still rock that dress. I love the second outfit too. Killer vest and boot combo.

Hi Fella!:-) I see what you mean, that pendant is marrying the dress and jacket by perfection! I think the colour is beautiful, and surelly stood out in the sea of blacks and greys! Happy you rediscoverred it!
Will have to copy the second outfit! I have the waistcoat and the jeans, but don't have a black tunic length shirt.I would love the tunic lengths but resisted to buy to day because of the too much volume (am much bustier than you, so if not darted, it has to have a volume there for sure:-)) butwaistcoat is a great ideea to streamline a bit. (Oh wait, short boots are missing too, at this moment:-(()

Beautiful outfits! I especially LOVE the vibrant colour and shape of the dress! And yes - indeed... Sometimes you have to give something a rest to make its appearance. I know I have that problem with my clothes. I seem to repeat favourites once a week!

thanks ladies for the votes of confidence. I do think it's the bold print that stares at me from the closet day in and day out and after a while I begin to wonder if it's "out". I had fun wearing this yesterday. I think too the length causes me pause... it feels short now that hemlines are coming down, but I'm not going to let that bug me.

Angie, wow, what an honor to receive a Killer TPO Killer. And on a grocery store outfit at that. Just goes to show that often I do best when I don't over think things.

Kelly- I actually thought about you while I was at the mall yesterday and wondered if I'd see you perhaps. I was only there for about 45 minutes...did the whole lap from the Rack, down to Target and back again.

Both of these are super Kim! #1 looks fab, the hemline doesn't bother me in the least; I can definitely see how that dress would garner tons of compliments! #2 is just awesome, I LOVE the light boots with the vest and the long black shirt. I would love to copy if I had the pieces!

I love your jean jacket. And I know how you feel about getting tired of a print. It's not *out* but you have been looking at it hanging there for a while and it gets old. It looks just fine, though. I love your second outfit! Love you in a waistcoat. Gorgeous!
