Beth Ann: well, I did have to go lower than my own 8,000 elevation to see some apple blossoms, lol. I am planning to take daily photos and will not post all (i.e. WIW for ditch cleaning - a local NM tradition) but after reading the "first six months" thread I could see from long term fabbers the value of frequent photos to keep track of outfits, thanks so much for your advice!
MovingFashionForward: thanks, and yes to both your questions! I'm finding myself less attracted to black but its still an easy default for me - I've been "silver" for about 10 years - but for the first half of those, I looked great in black! Lately though, I've noticed that even a black sleeveless tank seems too harsh and seem to throw wrinkles and sagging skin into stark relief...in solids, I find a midtone gray to be much kinder and my features don't disappear. Black still works in a small print if there is color somewhere - you can't really see from the photo, but the top portion has some green in the stitching and mint in the side panels. And I do still wear black pants and capris, just not close to my face.
Thanks for the positive feedback everyone!
