Wiw for thanksgiving. Had big outfit plans, but then got stuck with only 20 minutes to get ready and ended up in this Target suit... But my mom liked it

I like it too, Rachy:-) I like it a lot, actually. A full-on pattern party, subdued by the black turtleneck, and the refined addition of the pointy-toed footwear.

Thanks! I don't wear the jacket and trousers together often, because I think it's loud. My mother didn't think it was that loud... which may explain everything, lol.

Ha haha! (Laughing at your comment, "which may explain everything.") I really like the suit on you, with the black turtleneck and black point toes as Inge notes. (Are those pumps or boots? They look great.) It's a terrific outfit to wear together for an occasion, and I can see how the pieces would work beautifully as separates for work.

It does explain a lot doesn't it? Lol. The shoes are pumps. These days I want to wear nothing but ankle boots, but I think this outfit needs a little feminity.

We had roast crab at a nice restaurant. Nice, that is, in the sense that they had to say yes to serving a dessert we brought.

Hehe. I always do especially unique for the family get togethers. I'm *that* cousin.

I'd say it was Outfit Success, especially with 20 minutes to figure it out! AND your mom liked it, which is a bonus. I'd like to see the pieces styled as separates; you wear that pattern really well.

I want to entertain, you know how it is. My other plans involved OTK boots (I did find a pair that I thought would do) and a tweed sheath dress or my pine green brocade modish pants suit from last year, but I didn't have it all sorted out and some of the elements are still in winter storage in the closet.

I don't know what I was thinking, that I'd somehow be able to dig things out and be able to wear them on Thanksgiving day.
