Happy Weekend, all you lovely ladies!

Hubs & I are off to watch the new X-men movie (we were traveling when it released last week).

Wearing my Zara flippy skirt, a beige & black net top that's super duper comfy & looks really pretty up-close. Outfit finished with leopard print slip on sneaks, a gold and black necklace & clutch bag. (#3 shows close up-image clicked in the mirror when I was trying on the outfit early today morn, while #1-2 are just before I exited the door)

This looks cute and comfortable. I have yet to wear sneakers with a skirt, but think I need to try it out. I don't have any slip ons, which probably are easier to style for this. I think you've inspired me for a weekend outfit.

Peri - my husband didn't like the movie. I LIKED the action and the graphics a lot. Totally unbelievable storyline....but I'm not judging. I enjoyed it.

Lovely summer outfit! Where I live, the air conditioning in movies is always set to arctic levels, so I also opt for sneakers to avoid cold feet.

I love the slip on sneaks! I searched for a pair of those for a long time, online, in stores, high end and low. I finally ended up with a pair from Target! I so wish I had bought a backup pair. Yours look really good with the lace. A little subtle pattern play. Love sneaks and skirts/dresses!

I also love the outfit but I had to comment on the German Shepherd Dog in the photo behind you. My GSD is 12 years old this month and I seem to zero in on the handsome devils, or devil-ettes. Beautiful dog.

Anna, I'm glad you found a pair you love! I am going through something similar trying to find snakeprint slip-on sneakers now! In fact, I'm going shopping to B&M stores today to find them (not much luck online).

Momo - glad you enjoyed the movie!

Ivy - air conditioning always used to be arctic at movie theatres here and I always carried a warm wrap to watch a movie. But this year the temps have reached 46deg C on some days and that artic cooling is a welcome relief....

SuzyQ - I know just what you mean!!! Mine is a pretty devil-ette called Xena (yes, inspired by the warrior princess, because that's exactly what she was as a puppy). She turned 8 this year and has grown into such a calm, composed, majestic dog. A true joy to have around....loyal as hell but also so well behaved. She takes commands so well and all I need to control the huge dog is a few words. I'm particular thankful for her since I got my Beagle pup ---- now that's a super hyper breed that can drive you nuts with their stubbornness! Much love to your beautiful GSD

My boy is Pete, don't ask me why but the name fit.. He is a long haired GSD and everyone is amazed at how soft his coat is. And like Xena loyal and protective but gentle when needed. Thanks for sharing and Angie thank you for letting me hijack the thread a bit.
