Long time now WIW eh? Thing is, I have a small wardrobe and I suspect you seen everything I own already I've been wearing a lot of repeats lately and repeating two days in a row a lot too. So this is what I had on yesterday (and today too). Good job I took the photo yesterday as I have a bad head today and look ghostly pale. Anyway, the cardigan, I think, no longer excites me much and feels a tad run of the mill these days. Also the yarn pills a fair bit. I may not keep it for next Autumn/Winter. Worn with my bf's and Pikolinos booties. Sorry I have nothing wildly exciting to show you, but hey it's real life and I wanted y'all to see that I haven't disappeared into thin air!

I love the color of your cardigan. It looks like a great, relaxed outfit. If you can figure out how to keep your's from shedding so much, please let me know. I've got a sweater that does the same thing and it's about to drive me batty.

Thanks KL! I sometimes resort to picking the little bobbles off my knitwear! I believe you can get special little combs for them , but I haven't had a real need for one before now.

Simple outfits make me happy as well. I like the cardigan.....it has an interesting neckline and button detail.
I bought a battery operated sweater shaver last winter and it's been brilliant. It's great for removing pills and fuzzies.
I'm a definite YAY for repeats.

Well...I thought repeats were the fashion path we were striving to tread...and your own Duchess does wear things over again...as does out First Lady...With such an illustrious group...you are right in style...

Repeats are essential for most of us. Plus if you enjoy repeating an outfit it means you've found something you love that works for you. That's the definition of success in my book.

I love the dark reds on you, and the boots are so good. Also, I am so happy to know I'm not the only person who will wear the same outfit two days in a row.

Love repeats and speaking of which you must repeat those jeans and belt often - they look amazing on you. The asymmetric sweater is great - too bad it is on its last legs.

There's nothing wrong with repeats as long as the outfits are flattering. You look great! Also, simplicity is most often the best way to go, IMO. Sometimes we keep adding things to our outfits, and the overall look is too busy. "Busy" is the "tried too hard" look we all want to avoid.

Diane, this is great everyday style. I think the cardigan is really neat with the asymmetric opening and the unusual turn-back collar. Great color, too. I can understand how something can feel less fab over time; it's just not always obvious to us observers!

Oh, thanks so much ladies! You know I think yesterday was one of those days when I felt blah mentally and physically and I think my feelings on the outfit mirrored that. It just goes to show that others perceive us differently.

I'll probably show you a few more repeats then (see what you've done?)

BTW, my head is a lot clearer today, hopefully it will stay like that.

Oh, and I will definitely wear the belt and jeans again Shevia!

I love seeing repeats and remixes, and am glad I got to see this outfit on you! If this cardigan is on its last legs, you must find a replacement, as the color is gorgeous on you. Very attractive bookending with the belt and booties, too.

Nothing wrong with repeating yourself, it's the best way to make signatures and uniforms. The sweater's really nice, seems a shame to let it go. The shape and colour look great on you.

Echoing others who think the cardi is a very flattering colour for you, and the collar and asymmetry are lovely. But it sounds as if it's been well worn, and owes you nothing. I like Windchime's suggestion of a replacement in a similar colour.

And it seems many of us are serial uniform repeaters, so you (we) are in good company

I agree the sweater is a good colour on me. I've been trying to think what it is about it that bothers me. I haven't actually had it that long, or worn it to death really, but it feels a little saggy when I wear it and I keep wishing it were about 2" longer, plus the pilling makes me feel less polished. I think I will definitely look for another in similar shade as I love how it plays with quite a few colours in my wardrobe. Thanks for the encouragement!
