WIW: Dots and Gray

I had a bit of extra time this morning, so I'm posting a WIW for Tuesday. My hair is still wet. True confession: I leave the home with wet hair most days-- my hair looks so much better when air-dried so no apologies.

That is a lovely outfit, I love all the soft greys with purple, that is one of my favorite color combos. And I also often go out with wet hair, I do not have much patience for drying and styling it.

I will guess that your post just got buried, the forum moves really fast these days.

I wish I could let my hair air dry, mine tends to look flat and frumpy if I don't do at least a little styling either before or after drying. Yours looks great and so does your outfit, your legs look so long. I have short legs so i always seem to notice when someone has a nice long leg line. How do you like the Everlane sweater. I've been tempted to purchase from them but I haven't yet.

I am a big fab of air drying hair. And if it looks better, that's a bonus!

I like the color of the skirt of you and have a slight preference for the version where you pushed the sleeves of the sweater up. How do you like the Everlane?

Very cute skirt!! I wish I had a nice pair of gray tights.

Summer is usually air-dry season for me. Can't do it in winter, I'd get sick with the amount of time I spend outdoors shortly after showering.

What a great outfit! The gray sweater and tights give a calm cohesion to the look, and the skirt is really pretty on you. I love how you're wearing those booties. I did a double-take when I went back to your description and saw that they were Munros.
Your hairstyle suits you beautifully, too. Lucky that you can let it air dry!

I really, really like this! It's perfectly "normal" and yet there's something unusual about the way you've combined things, the purple with grey, the taupe shoes with the grey tights, even the grey tights and grey sweater worn together..
You look lovely.

A couple of you asked about the Everlane sweater. In general, I have had good success with Everlane. This sweater is Merino wool and it isn't an item that they sell all the time. It started pilling three hours after I wore it for the first time, which was a disappointment. I still like it, but if I were to do it again, I might try a different Everlane item instead.
