I've
been wanting to wear this jacket/tshirt combo for a while, and I'm really happy
with it. The jacket is nicely tailored, maybe a little too snug buttoned so I'm
leaving it unbuttoned all day. Plus I want to make sure the shirt art is
visible! The shirt was a Christmas gift from my husband. It has the Battlestar
Galactica logo and the words "So Say We All" vertically down the left
side. This is symbolic for us in many ways: We watched the entire series
together in our earlier years of couplehood, the phrase and elements of the
show (along with lots of other geeky Sci fi stuff) was incorporated into our
wedding 3 years ago. It is also the name of our record label, the logo is S2WAl
written as a chemical compound. AND we are getting a tattoo of the logo, first
for both of us, next month!!

Sorry for rambling lol, moving on! The jacket was thrifted. It's velvet, and a gorgeous chocolate brown that makes me want to lick my arms. The jeans are
Denizen stretch skinnies from Target, they don't fit well above the thighs (too loose in the waist, the rise is too high to tuck anything in etc) but I keep wearing them because they are the only nicer dark skinny jeans I have. brown trouser socks and leopard flats with buckle detail
from Payless.

The jewelry is mostly stuff I found on sale at Rainbow or Dots type stores. I
love gaudy blingy necklaces, and I'd say this one definitely fits the bill!
Earrings are simple studs for balance, and although I rarely wear bracelets as
they annoy me, this one is a bit more tolerable. And then I have on 4 gold
rings in various styles, in addition to my titanium wedding band of course.

Birds eye view of my hair for fun.
Bronze smoky eye and a neutral pink lipstick with flecks of gold in it.

Any feedback is welcome, ideas on how to style the jacket differently/better?
Thanks,
Heather
