WIW: day 2 no heels and my first Winter Whiteout

I never would have thought to wear this before YLF, so thank you for expanding my style options! I like it more than I thought I would.

I debated between these cognac Oxford flats and leopard flats, I decided these bookend my hair better and I'm saving the leopard flats for another no-heel day this week.

The sweater has the slightest hint of sparkle due to some fine gold thread interwoven throughout, doesn't seem to show up in pictures though.

Very nice! The flats blend in nicely with the outfit. I have yet to find the right combination of items to do the winter whiteout but I really like the look.

It took some getting used to for sure. Looking now, I would have preferred a longer top - these pants are a bit sausage-y on my upper thighs, and would have liked brown boots better too. I don't have them yet though, getting some this weekend!!;

I like your take on winter white! And the sparkle does show a little bit in the first picture. Adds a nice warmth to the white/cream shades. Cute flats too!

The tank top and t shirt are white, but the sweater is definitely more ivory and the pants are a very light tan. Like the color of a latte or maybe eggnog. Not sure what that color is called.

Anyone think I should have worn darker socks to accentuate the end of the pants legs?

Lol yes well, the thought is do I want my legs to look like an extension of the pants or more like my actual ankle I guess?? But my actual skin tone is rather pale, so maybe it's a moot point...

Lovely outfit! I was admiring the stockings you chose and then saw your question--I like the sheer, tonal look! The one other look I would do is nude stockings with this outfit.

I tried a winter white out today and thought I looked super cute until I realized that as I was driving to a workshop I dripped my green smoothie on my jeans. I immediately thought about my mother who still believes that white shouldn't be worn after Labor Day. Oh well, glad I have bleach in the house.
