Happy Thursday! Well Angie very sweetly mentioned she is missing "my non black outfits", so just for you Angie, and because our weather has cooled down again, I'm breaking out two new things! Cobalt Ponte skinny pants, and my new blue booties. Of course the assymetrical topper is black....but my necklace is blue! This is an office outfit but I have no meetings or appointments and this is pretty comfy for catching up on admin and I still feel smart enough should one of my team drop by:) So Angie, enough of a colour fix? xxx Comments and suggestions welcome, particularly any thoughts on what else to wear these boots with. xxxDeborah

Love. The. Boots! Well, if you're going to pick only one color to wear (I'm slightly biased but who cares ;-)) then definitely choose cobalt blue. I just love the flowy top with the western bootie. I am so copying this look (with minor adjustments of course). I may not have cobalt jeans and booties but I love this silhouette.

It's funny DV because I don't think of them as 'western' style booties because I don't really like that style:) But I guess they kind of are!
Neifern, they are pretty comfy. The heel is approx 1 inch and it gives me just enough height. I really struggle with porportions when i wear a completely flat shoe.

Those blue booties are gorgeous! Have you tried them with your black pants and your blue top that drapes so beautifully? A black / gray outfit with a scarf that picks up the blue would be nice, too.

Lyn the white boots arrived on Monday but they were too big - i get a bit confused re sizing sometimes, particularly when I am ordering on line late at night!! - so I sent them back and expect my size early next week.
I was worried about the blue boots because when I first tried them on they felt a bit firm and I was concerned they were not a good fit for my wideish foot BUT they are so comfortable and the size is good.

Brilliant outfit on you, Deborah!
A couple of ideas on blue bootie pairing--I can see them being stunning with
white jeans or a black pencil skirt. On your blog, you have a pencil skirt post with open-weave sweater--I could see the blue booties with that outfit, for example. You could also try a Mondrian-inspired outfit: color block in pieces with red, white, yellow, black, and the blue booties. You could definitely pull off something like that and look like your totally fab self.
