Riffing a little on Angie's ensemble of dark red and pink http://youlookfab.com/2014/08/.....nk-orange/ I pulled a pair of burgundy trouser jeans from a pile of "difficult to style" items and paired with a welted sweater in a rose pink, a brown belt in a tone similar to the pants and my standard work pumps. The outfit seemed a little plain, so I threw on a multistrand necklace of of silver loops, which echoed the chain detail on the pumps and also helped to elongate the neckline. The dark light in the ladies' WC doesn't register the true color of the trousers, unfortunately, but I though I'd give it a go anyway. I kinda liked the combo, and have decided that the trousers need to get out more often, so I'll be looking for other ways to style burgundy. Has anyone else found new life for this color in old pieces, given the color's resurgence this year?
