WIW: Bootcut bootcamp - two days

Got a new-to-me pair of bootcuts - they're long enough for my 2 inch heels.

I wore them yesterday and today - with navy polkadots and a gray sweater yesterday, and with green and white today.

Looking at the pics, neither work that well - they're too long with the saddle shoes, and the green-white is off somehow.

Also, I'm still looking for the perfect heels to wear with them.... Someday I'll find them.

Bonus pic of the necklace I wore today - my five peas in a pod Mom necklace. It's made from aviation safety wire (my husband works in aviation). One of my few sentimental pieces - it makes me happy!

I love #1 if the heels were higher or hems shorter! #2 is fun as well; I bet it looks better than you think once you have your bag in hand and are on the go. The necklace is such a fun concept and looks really cool!

Thanks Rae - I'm planning to keep these long, because my other pair is a flats-only pair. I didn't notice yesterday how very long these are in flats! (They have a 34" inseam).

The jeans look promising! I think all you need is the right footwear, like you said. The necklace is so special. I love peas. Really pretty, and it has sentiment too. Does this mean you are a Mom to 5?

With your thrifting skills you'll run across the right shoes in no time! The saddle shoes are super with the gray sweater and polka dot shirt and your necklace is great. Love the symbolism behind it. Did you make it?

How appropriate that you have a DH in aviation --- since you're Amelia Earhart's doppelganger! The necklace is playful and cheeky as well as a sentimental favorite!

Those jeans will be fabulous with the perfect shoes. I perpetually struggle with this myself with bootcuts. Love the blue and grey combo. And I adore the necklace! What a lovely sentiment behind. it.

Thanks you all! I'm hoping to find the perfect shoe this spring - I've been surprised at how picky my feet are once I add a heel to the shoe, so the hunt for good heeled shoes has been slow. But I know I'll find some sometime.... I may even try looking for a NEW pair eventually....

And yes, I did make the necklace. I've made a few of them now - they're popular with my Mom-friends
