WIW backlog - pink pants, turtleneck, PPL issues, etc.

1 - worn today, the last Friday in my current office! Happier with this now that I see the pic than I was with the mirror.

2 - pink pants, handed down from my former supervisor. Pink pearl necklace is askew because I was running late... oops.

3 - boring, serviceable outfit.

4 - green skirt is new this season - outfit built around the bag I made.

5 - outfit built on lime ON sweater from the swap meet... I had bought it to wear with jeans shorts - does it work layered like this, or is it too big for that purpose?

6 - I finally got around to letting out the hems of these pants from the Pasadena swap... and now they are too long, even for my highest heels! Are they riding lower than before? Did I lose weight and not notice? There was not that much extra fabric in the hem! Now I know why so many women like cropped pants... ETA: I promise I am wearing a nude cami under that turtleneck. No idea why my boobs look white in the pic.

Rae, you look adorable in evry outfit. My favorite is #2 with the pink pants. I love how you paired them with the dark shirt and skinny belt (Are they black?) and the green bag.

Those pants in #6 are so fab! I don't really mind them long, I didn't notice, but probably you lost weight and that is why they are hanging lower. Are you sure you don't have any shoes with heels 1 inch higher?

#5 sweater looks great, this outfit works well to my eye. I like the way your bags are so well coordinated to each outfit, without looking neurotic.

I like everything very much here Rae. If you feel #3 is too boring, what about adding a non-black belt to the outfit?

Rae, you are gorgeous. I love your green skirt outfit with bare legs best of all of these fab looks. I agree the pants are now slightly too long; was the original hem very wide? Re the visible bra thing; someone pointed out on an earlier thread that the camera flash reflection can show in the pic, but obviously isn't a problem IRL. Perhaps thats what happened?

Joy, yes, the pink pants are paired with black - I'm glad you like them; I would not have bought this pale pink myself, but I ended up liking them, too.

CL, these shoes are about 5.5"... I'll just have to hem the pants again. :T

Lynne, you are probably right - one of the pitfalls of using flash and shooting indoors.

Thank you for the boosts. It was a stressful week, so I didn't get to pick out my outfits the night before. I'm happy they turned out okay!

Everything looks great! I love you in boots and skirts. And yes, you do look like you've lost weight to me. (Is that a good or a bad thing? Hope you're ok!) It's frustrating what that does to pants lengths, though.

1. This is fun cardigan, but I am not too keen on this shade of brown on you. I'm not even sure this observation has any basis in color analysis, but the shade is just a bit old for you. (that's *my* opinion)
2. Love, especially the pants and the bag together. FunX2! perfect finishing touch with the thin black belt. Suggestion: how about unbuttoning the shirt (one or two buttons)?
3. It may be boring to you, but there's nothing wrong with this. In fact, you have one amazing pair of classic pants here that you can wear until you can see through the fabric. Wear them with the white shirt, add that thin black belt from no.2, keep the fun bag and you are on a roll! Swap the belt for red, chose some different bag, the possibilities are endless. Perfect wardrobe staple for professional look that you can really do wonders with just changing accessories.
4. I love how the bag (well done you) ties in with the boots and the jacket. Great skirt too. I'd maybe try different shirt instead of the black one, maybe something lighter?
5. I love this look. Another option would be bright (white) shirt as well. Am I getting too predictable with the white shirt suggestions? I love these pants on you. I also picture them with that black shirt and bag from no.2.
6. Perhaps you've lost weight or maybe your underwear or tights if you wear them do some magic, so the pants are suddenly too long? This is cute outfit, but I'd swap the shoes for the ones from no.5 (the soles on the ones you're wearing look bright and a bit summery for the overall look). Gorgeous necklace!

I've really enjoyed this series. You look like my favorite paper cut-out doll I loved playing with as a kid and mix. I used to mix and match her outfits like I did with yours now

#1 - Um, that white belt peeking out is divine with that sweater
#2 - killer pants - love with the black skinny belt
#3 - nice wide-leg silhouette on you. Like the stripes+tweed
#4 - love that green skirt!
#5 - my favorite. The sweater is a little over-sized but it's balanced by the ankle-length pant. I love the color, too.
#6 - Too bad they are too long, but at least it's easy enough to fix that. The top is an AMAZING color on you and goes very well with the camel-colored pants.
