Another attempt at "gypsy chic." I had been doing slightly more polished, "glamorous bohemian" looks this summer. But lately, a the weather turns, I feel the gypsy in me (My Bohemian and Irish heritage is shining through, ha )

Today is a darker look overall. I'm glad I chose metallic t-strap sandals (the backs are multi-colored, which you can't see in the photos). It brightens and lightens it all up, I think.

This is a first for me. I am wearing a cardigan and I love it. I have always felt they were too classic for me. I feel old, dated, and frumpy in anything too classic. Round-neck cardis scream "prim, proper, and classic" to me. I shudder. But I think this cardi works because of
1. what I paired it with
2. longer length
3. pockets
4. beautiful pine green color

I also chose the cardi because it's merino wool, and will keep me decently warm in this damp, chilly, early fall weather we're experiencing here in the mountains.

Also, based upon E's kind and helpful suggestion, I layered on most of the jewelry I own. (forgot to add earrings - I'll add those tonight.) I almost added a copper collar I own, but decided to keep the necklaces long and swingy. (I think the copper would have been fun though and might add that later!)

harem pants, h&m
tank top, old navy
cardigan, brooks brothers (thrifted)
sandals, macy's and terribly old. (3 years old maybe?)
jewelry, handmade+boutiques+thrifted

What do you all think? Am I on track?
