WIW : A New Neutral

Hi Ladies,

Master 13 is well and goes back to school on Monday:). It's been a busy week with him off school and some job changes so today is the first day I've managed to get an outfit photo in a week. My young master is back on photographer duty

New jacket from Temt. Really a store that produces teen fashion of inconsistent quality, I was supposed at the quality of the faux sueded. Soft and substantial, fully lined, and a a nice weight, also warm.

I like the tone and thought it was a nice light neutral to add to my black.

What do you think? I may need to wear a different lipstick with it

I like the neutral color, although I find the lapels a trifle wide, but not a deal breaker. I think the lipstick is good though -- I wouldn't also go super-neutral with it.

What did you decide regarding your job options? Maybe I missed your decision post.

I like it, Deborah! I like the softness that it adds to the outfit, and like UmmLila, I wouldn't change the lipstick for the sake of the jacket. I think you could wear paler lipstick if you wanted a change, but I think this outfit looks great as is. Of course I like the harem pants, and you wear them so well.

I like this light neutral very much on you and with your black or navy pieces. It looks like it would also be a great color with white shades.

That's really nice. I love that color on you and it works well with the black. We have TEMT here and I've never really been in it....must venture out in retail sources.

It looks great with your harems Deborah and I also like your lippy with it. Temt can have some real treasures sometimes. You just need the patience to wade through the stock while your eardrums are being assaulted by the music at high volume.

Very soft and pretty. Maybe for the lipstick, it wouldn't have to be paler, but perhaps warmer?
It often surprises me how those teenage shops have racks of hideous things - and then have something quite lovely mixed in.

I love this on you - it is a great contrast with the black and has a definite Rick Owens vibe. Your make up is lovely too. Master 13 is doing a wonderful job at taking your photos.

You sure make those harem pants look good! I like this jacket, would also be nice with grays and browns. The store sounds like our Forever 21, I feel too old shopping there but can find some nice things once in a while.

I love the soft taupe on you and it looks great with black. I have a taupe leather jacket myself and like wearing it with other dark neutrals. I think your lipstick looks great with it, and wouldn't change it.

Cute jacket - and a good neutral colour on you. Like the others, I wouldn't change lipstick colours - a paler nude shade might wash you out, given your porcelain skin .....

It's such a lovely soft pinkish taupe...really lovely on you. I don't think you need a different lipstick but it might be fun to experiment!

Oh, what an interesting jacket. I like this addition. The texture. I feel like saying yes to a different lipstick, but I may be projecting. This week I decided I want some alternatives to the pinky lipsticks I have.

Thanks so much ladies, I think I'm going to enjoy the jacket. Coco and Lyn we only recently got Temt here. I used to browse them when I was in Melbourne and would sometimes find a treasure so I was thrilled when they came to Bendigo.
